Happy Birthday William Shakespeare

We are all invited to William Shakespeare's birthday party on 23rd April on what will be his 450th birthday. The Royal Shakespeare Company in Startford has arranged a big firework display in celebration to take place on top of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre after the evening performance of Henry IV Part 1.
Emergency Exit Arts, one of the country's most experienced providers of pyrotechnics, will create the special anniversary event, which will start at 10.30pm.
It has been dubbed a commemoration of the " Star of Poets" after Ben Jonson's description of Shakespeare.
RSC has just unveiled its winter programme which includes performances of Love's Labour Lost and Love's Labour Won (usually known as Much Ado About Nothing), and a season marking the centenary of First World War, including new work The Christmas Truce which draws on true stories of soldiers in the Warwickshire Regiment.
