Whether planning a few garden fireworks to share with friends, creating a wedding fireworks display, or even your bonfire nights fireworks, then your first priority has to be safety!

Adults should be the only people to light fireworks - young people should simply watch and enjoy! It’s also important after the event, that adults take care of the safe disposal of used fireworks.

As edge ever-nearer to November 5th, here are our top 10 fireworks safety tips ensuring a safe and fun time can be had by all:

  1. Plan your firework display to make it safe and enjoyable.
  2. Store fireworks in a closed, dry box and use them one at a time.
  3. Read and follow the instructions on each firework using a torch.
